Level 2 Beauty Therapy students at Kingston College have been visiting the elderly residents at The Galsworthy House Nursing Home on Kingston Hill. They have been providing manicures to the residents of the care home but also lots of friendly company and conversation each Thursday morning.
The Beauty Therapy students, who have been visiting on a weekly rota basis and will continue to visit throughout the academic year, really look forward to the time spent at the nursing home. Beauty Therapy Lecturer, Grace Klos-Lim, commented: “It’s a great benefit to the residents but also for the students who are learning how to communicate and care for elderly patients.”
