Level 2 Beauty Therapy students at Kingston College have been visiting the elderly residents at Galsworthy House Nursing Home, Deer Park View Care Centre and The Bradbury Centre this term. They have been providing lovely manicures and hand and arm massages, but also lots of friendly company and conversation during each visit.
The Beauty Therapy students will continue to visit throughout the academic year and really look forward to the time spent there. Beauty Therapy Lecturer, Grace Klos-Lim, commented: “It’s a great benefit to the elderly folk but also for the students who are learning how to communicate and care for elderly patients.”
