Carshalton College Level 3 Art & Design students attended the Create Your Future 2026 UCAS Event at Excel Centre London, designed for those interested in pursuing a career in the creative industries.
Students explored a wide range of university stands, where they had the opportunity to speak with course leaders, current students and industry specialists, gaining valuable advice, guidance and insight into further education and potential career pathways.
The visit proved to be an extremely helpful and worthwhile experience, allowing students to explore different university courses, discover new opportunities and develop a clearer understanding of the pathways available to them after college. Speaking directly with university representatives gave students the chance to ask questions, discuss their interests and learn more about course requirements, application processes and future career prospects within the creative industries.
Overall, the event was a valuable opportunity for students to broaden their horizons, build confidence in their future choices and make more informed decisions about their next steps. The experience helped inspire students to think more deeply about their ambitions and how they can turn their creativity, skills and interests into successful future careers.
