Carshalton College was delighted to welcome Jamie Clancy-Toomey from Buxton Building Contractors recently for an inspiring in-class session with students from Bricklaying, Multi-Skills, Carpentry, and Plumbing courses.
The session offered valuable insights into the diverse career opportunities within the construction industry and highlighted the pathways available to help students take their first steps. Jamie shared Buxton’s rich history, showcased flagship projects, and emphasised the company’s commitment to developing the future workforce.
Students gained a deeper understanding of:
