Level 3 Sports students recently visited S3 Padel in Sutton to take part in an expert-led coaching session.
Padel is considered one of the fastest growing sports so a great opportunity for our students to find out why!
Students were introduced to the key technical, tactical and physical elements of padel, including shot selection, positioning, teamwork and communication. Under the guidance of industry professionals they were able to apply their learning immediately through practical on-court activities, reinforcing the importance of learning through experience.
Opportunities like this highlight the value of industry experts working directly with students. By engaging with professionals currently working within the sports sector, students gain insight into emerging sports, current trends and employer expectations.
This helps them develop confidence, adaptability and a greater understanding of the skills required for future employment.
The visit to S3 Padel provided an excellent opportunity for students to broaden their sporting knowledge while strengthening their practical coaching and performance skills in a real-world environment.
