Safeguarding

Back in May, Spring Fest marked the culmination of the year for students in the Level 3 Diploma and Extended Diploma in Music Performance and Production, with both first-year and second-year students showcasing their talents. A diverse array of performances, including cover songs, creative rearrangements, and original compositions, gave the audience a taste of the students' musical growth and creative exploration throughout the year. From dynamic group performances to impressive solo acts, Spring Fest highlighted the dedication and artistry of everyone involved.

The entire event was meticulously planned, organised, and executed by the Year 1 students, who took charge of all aspects of production. They independently handled scheduling, marketing, logistics, stage setup, rehearsals, sound checks, and even filming and photography. Their efforts extended to creating custom radio idents, adding a professional touch between tracks. Spring Fest not only showcased musical talent but also demonstrated the students’ ability to manage and deliver a full-scale production, an invaluable experience as they continue their creative journeys.
