Merton College hosted a Hospitality & Catering Fair this month, which was attended by many employers from the industry including Marriott Hotels London Grosvenor Square and London Park Lane, Caterlink, Richmond Hill Hotel, Absolute Taste and Aramark.
The event gave students, school groups and the general public/job seekers the chance to find out about career opportunities and the skills required to work in the hospitality and catering sector. They met with employers, heard about courses available for school leavers and adults, including our 6-week taster courses, and watched demonstrations from current learners.
There was a fantastic turnout to the event, which was organised by the College’s Employability team.
