“College life was what I expected as you are given the opportunity to be more independent and it encourages you to become more disciplined when completing work. Compared to sixth form, college treats you as a young adult rather than a school kid in secondary school. Overall college gives you more freedom in your decisions during your time there.
“I have been offered a Degree Apprenticeship Programme as a manufacturing engineer with Jaguar Land Rover. During the programme, I will also be studying for a degree in Applied Professional Engineering with Warwick University. Luckily for me, I do not need to pay for my degree and I get a monthly salary.”
