Rose, a student studying A Level+ Creative Business Studies (Art & Design) at Kingston College, recently had an incredibly productive week at Fereday Pollard, an award-winning London-based architectural and landscape design practice.

During her work experience, Rose demonstrated remarkable dedication and enhanced her skill set by engaging in various tasks and visiting a construction site for an active project. The experience culminated in her presenting her design concepts to the Fereday Pollard team in a boardroom setting.

Rose’s tutors were thrilled to share positive feedback from her mother, Caroline: “I just wanted to let you know about Rose's amazing work experience at Fereday Pollard. Rose worked incredibly hard all week. She learned so many new skills and software programmes but was also able to work through all her design briefs which culminated in her presenting her pavilion designs to 14 members of staff in a conference room, working through a 10 minute presentation. I could not be more proud of her.

“I think Rose made the College proud too in presenting herself professionally and being fully engaged. She is now certain she wants to study architecture at university and I hope we can all work together to find the best courses for her and the universities that would look favourably on her BTEC qualifications.

“Thank you both for all your continuing support of Rose. This was an invaluable experience.”
