Earlier this month, Merton College welcomed back Bayo Igoh from Bigoh Coaching to judge an exciting Dragon’s Den-style pitch event. Our talented BTEC Level 3 Business & Marketing learners showcased their creativity and strategic skills by presenting innovative marketing communication plans and standout marketing content.

Bayo’s invaluable support throughout this term has been a game changer for both students and staff, providing expert guidance and real-world insights during their work experience. His continued involvement has left a lasting, positive impact, inspiring the next generation of marketing professionals at Merton College.

Ruby, Business & Marketing student, said: "Thank you, Bayo Igoh and Merton College, for allowing me to gain work experience within your business and to create a marketing plan. I now understand more about business coaches and what they do daily, I've learned about SME executives and the struggles they go through. Not only has this work experience helped me to strengthen my skills, but it’s enabled me to achieve new skills too such as knowledge of Canva. The insight gained from the business coaching market has sparked my interest and I will be using the information gained in future tasks. Once again, thank you for this opportunity."

Ruben, Business & Marketing student, said: "I want to thank my tutor Marlon Commock for the opportunity to be part of this work experience. I really enjoyed it and hope to participate again in other event like Bigoh Coaching."
