Khadija Kharbouch is studying ESOL Level 1 (MLA)
Khadija says: "I am originally from Morocco and have lived in the UK since 2018. I started studying ESOL Entry 2 at Merton College from 2022-23 and passed my English Skills Certificate. I then progressed to ESOL Entry 3 and now I'm working towards my English Skills qualifications at Level 1.
During my time at Merton, I've also developed my skills further by completing my Functional Skills Maths at Entry 1. I hope to pass my Maths at Entry 3 this year. In addition, I am currently doing an IT computer course and feel confident I can achieve the qualification.
I was delighted to have been able to complete another coursee called ‘Working with the school’, where I've learned how to work with children and become aware of Safeguarding issues.
My teachers have provided me with incredible support and I've met many interesting students. I feel I've learned a lot and believe that I will be able to achieve my goal of working in a primary school in the near future."
