Merton College was delighted to host Careers Leaders and Educators from schools across the South London region for an all day event 'Careers Discovered'. Guests attended talks from employers in Construction, Tech, Hospitality, Health, Creative and Green Industries to find out about the latest developments and career opportunities for young people. They were also informed about links between subject areas and careers and the importance of contact with industry leaders: 'you can't be what you can't see'.
Staff from STCG's Schools and Business Partnerships Teams, Employability and Careers teams took part in the event to network, upskill and seek new opportunities for students.
