Employer London 24/7 Electrical has worked closely with the Employability Team at Merton for years, offering our Electrical Installation students work experience to develop their workplace skills. One of our Level 3 students, Riley, attended an interview with the employer and secured a work placement for one day a week at their Morden branch.
After completing over 36 hours of work experience, his managers were so impressed with his work ethic, that they went on to offer him part time employment to fit around his studies. Mark Neve, Managing Director, said: “Riley was one of the best students we’ve had on a work placement. Riley is a credit to himself, his family and the College.”
