On Friday 14 February, Kingston College students stepped into the spotlight for the much-anticipated annual Kingston’s Got Talent! With the charismatic and uproarious motivational speaker Kheron Gilpin at the helm, the College’s ACT Theatre was packed to the rafters with students, friends and family.

The performances were fantastic with so many students taking to the stage and impressing everyone with their undeniable talents. They performed with great confidence and joy, creating a lively, buzzing atmosphere where everyone supported and cheered every act, perfectly fitting for Valentine's Day!

The judges were Archie O’Neill, Co-Director of Creative Youth; John O’Shea, College Principal; Vice Principal, Charlotte Veale; and Vice Principal of Student Services, David Williamson. While all the acts were incredible, three star performers stood out and won Amazon gift vouchers:

1st place: Lauren-Grace

2nd place: Leliana

3rd place: Bianca and Mai

Judge Archie O’Neill said: “All the performers were amazing and all so different - every single song was a banger! The audience were equally brilliant, cheering and supporting everyone. It was heartwarming to see such a strong sense of community and connection, as well as really brilliant talent. You didn’t make the decision easy at all.”

A big thank you to the Production Arts team for managing the stage, sound and lighting, to our judges, our magnificent MC, and to Tristan and Rachel from Student Services, who flawlessly organised the event.

And lastly, a huge thank you to all the students who performed so brilliantly.
