Kingston College Music students had the pleasure of playing at the Mayor of London’s Adult Learning Awards which celebrate individuals and organisations helping Londoners reach their potential, kickstart their careers and boost London’s economy. The City Hall ceremony, held on Wednesday 6 November, celebrated the inspirational stories of Londoners, employers and community organisations.

Caroline Hall, Programme Leader, Music Practice, said: “It was a fantastic experience for our students who performed throughout the Awards Ceremony and received glowing praise from the audience and organisers. The Deputy Mayor of London, Howard Dawber, commented that he wished our music students could be on hand to perform his walk on music at all his engagements!

“We could not have done this without the hard work of Chris, James and Jacob who "packaged up" our Music Section and transported it across London. The Music team is feeling incredibly proud!”
