"I chose to study at Kingston College because I knew that it’s one of the best colleges in London. I studied ESOL Pre Entry to Level 2 English. To have further proof of my speaking and writing in English, I decided to keep continuing so I am now studying GCSE English and GCSE Maths at Kingston College.

"When I was at Level 1 English, I applied for a job on South Western Railway and after a long process and a lot of tests, I began gruelling training and then was offered employment as a Rail Operator. Before arriving in England, my background was in Engineering so I would like to eventually use my engineering skills or perhaps move into management in this field.

"When I began studying at Kingston College I didn't believe I would really enjoy it but when I saw how my teachers helped me, I became more excited to keep continuing and attend all my classes.

"My advice to all students is that when you start everything is difficult, that it is important to not give up. I’m not especially talking about studying but about life, if sometimes we are under pressure remember this is because of our future, and then it will be easier."
