During week commencing 4th November, Kingston College proudly hosted its annual Employability Week, providing students with an exciting and varied schedule of employer presentations. The event featured one-hour sessions delivered by a diverse range of employer partners, all eager to engage with the College’s talented students.
Students from across the College had access to 35 presentations throughout the week - an impressive seven sessions per day! Notable organisations such as UK Border Force, The National Trust, Rose Theatre, the NHS, Mark Warner Holidays, Kingston Council, Surrey Cricket Club (ACE), Britannia Row Productions, ETC Connect and Kingston Churches Action on Homelessness participated. Nearly 1000 students gained invaluable occupational insights and careers advice.
And there’s more to come! With so much interest from employers, we couldn’t fit all the presentations into one week. Stay tuned for additional sessions later this term featuring British Airways and the Metropolitan Police.
A huge thank you to all the students who took part - engaging with employers is an important step in making informed decisions about your future career paths.
Finally, a heartfelt thanks to our employer partners for their incredible support and to the Employability Team for making this event a resounding success!
