Foundation Learning students at Kingston College recently performed in a Snow White Pantomime, held in the College’s ACT Theatre. Once again, our talented students truly outdid themselves, delivering a performance that left the audience thoroughly enchanted. It was a huge team effort as the stunning stage scenery was built by a group of Foundation Learning students who preferred to be behind the scenes. The theatre was filled to capacity with parents, carers, employers, College staff and fellow students, all clapping and singing along with enthusiasm. BTEC Production Arts students ably supported behind the scenes with production, stage management, lighting and sound.
The atmosphere was electric, as the audience was invited to join in the festive spirit that embodies a traditional pantomime.
Foundation Learning lecturer, Keith Mellor, expressed his pride in the students achievements saying: "The performance is a testament to the dedication and hard work of our students, who have not only enhanced their theatrical skills but have also developed invaluable attributes such as teamwork, resilience and creativity. It is evident that this experience has had a profound impact on their confidence levels and personal growth.”
