Across our four colleges, we are celebrating Neurodiversity Week and Foundation Learning/SEND students have been getting involved in a variety of activities.
The students attended several lightening talks to learn more about neurodiversity and hear about people’s lived experiences. Chris is an Occupational Therapy Assistant at College and spoke about Dyslexia, Dyspraxia, their strengths, challenges as well as top tips for managers.
Alongside the talks, the Foundation Learning/SEND students also thoroughly enjoyed making brain jellies and took part in group presentations researching famous people who are neuro diverse and have achieved extraordinary things.
