Thank you to Senior Strategy Advisor for the Home Office and former Immigration Enforcement Officer with Border Force UK, Kausar Khanzadi for a great employability talk to our Uniformed Protection Services students.
Kausar discussed the role and responsibilities of Border Force UK.
Students were encouraged to apply for the Border Force UK apprenticeship they are offering. The exciting career opportunities available were also discussed, such as progressing onto a career with the National Crime Agency (NCA) and becoming an NCA Investigator.
The skills and knowledge that are gained by working with Border Force were highlighted as being transferable skills that can be used to explore further career paths within the Uniformed Public/Protective Services.
Tutor Ciaran Fox, said: “This was an excellent session and many students said they were interested in applying for the Border Force UK apprenticeship in the future. I look forward to liaising Border Force UK staff and arranging future inspirational sessions for our students.”
