Two of our Level 2 Carpentry students, Calum and David, recently completed a valuable two-week work placement with YY Security, subcontractors of Quinn London. The opportunity allowed the students to gain hands-on experience on a live construction site and develop practical skills essential to the trade.
As a generous gesture, YY Security provided each student with a basic hand tool kit to use during their placement, which was gifted to them upon completion to support their continued learning and career progression.
Ryan from YY Security commented, “We want them to succeed in this career path and hopefully give them the right start into the construction industry.”
Joel from Quinn London added, “I just wanted to provide positive feedback on the students, David and Calum, during their time with us over the Easter break. They both demonstrated a great attitude, punctuality, and a strong willingness to learn. We appreciate their approach and hope that this opportunity has provided them with valuable experience.”
