Hairdressing & Barbering students have spent the last few weeks at College with some amazing industry professionals and they wanted to share their story. Tutor Jenny Wiltshire said: “We are really grateful to the artists who gave up their time to visit the hairdressing & barbering students to share their experiences and insider knowledge of their craft to our learners.”
The students enjoyed some fantastic training workshops with:
- Balayage training with Scarlet Woods from Headmasters UK Artistic Team.
- Barbering training with Daniel Vitali of Headmasters UK Artistic Team.
- Fade and shape up training for our Barbering students with Michael Giwa from Barbering experts Smokey Barbers.
- Junior from Dialacut Barbers spent the day with our Level 2 Barbers and demonstrated the latest technique used within the Barbering Industry.
The students also enjoyed a visit from Victor Pajak, who is a member of the L’Oreal Professional Portfolio of Artistic Hairdressers, an exclusive group of top British hairdressers recognised for their creativity and expertise in their field.
We’ve also welcomed Sian Quinn, Education Manager with Headmasters UK, who conducted a styling workshop with Level 2 & 3 Hairdressing students while conducting a talent spotting exercise seeking talented hairdressers for the company… students will be invited to undertake a trade test and if successful, offered full time employment.
