We were pleased to welcome a range of employers to join us at our Employability Fair on Wednesday 11 December in our Sports Hall.
The event was a great success and provided an opportunity for students to meet employers and find out about career opportunities and work experience.
Among the employers that exhibited were, the Army, Navy, RAF, The Met Police, Pinnacle, SW London NHS Paramedics, Belong Sutton Arena/Gaming, Just Ask, UC Build and Safestore.
At Carshalton College, we are fully aware of the need to equip our learners with the necessary skills and experiences to help them achieve sustainable success and achievement in their chosen career path. Therefore, in order to help them achieve this, they gain valuable industry knowledge through work experience and Industry placements in addition to on-site visits and invitations to guest speakers to visit our colleges. Working closely with our employers over the years has enabled us to develop long-standing and sustainable opportunities for our leaners.
As well as gaining industry knowledge, we understand the importance of developing the specific industry and additional skills employers look for with our employability events.
