Charlie is studying Carpentry Level 2. "This is my 2nd year after I completed the Level 1 last year. I tried the Public Services course before that but decided I wanted to work with my hands and I enjoyed making things so thought I would try my hand at Carpentry.
We have just started stud work and making doors so it is quite challenging but really interesting. My tutors work us hard but we get help and support when we need it! The assignments have been the most complicated aspect of my course for me. We are asked to work independently but this has been a really eye opener for me.
I spend my spare time at the gym with the free vouchers we receive as full time students and I am a student union member so get to work on a variety of College events and organise meetings etc.
I plan to progress onto the Level 3 Carpentry course.
