The King’s Trust Carshalton team has successfully completed a two‑week community project at Croydon Cemetery, contributing valuable support to the upkeep and care of the local grounds.
As part of the project, learners took on a range of gardening and maintenance tasks. Their work included:
- Trimming back perimeter trees
- Clearing and removing overgrown green waste
- Carrying out general grounds maintenance to improve the area for visitors
The project provided the team with hands‑on experience while making a meaningful contribution to the local community.
