At South Thames College we believe our students learn by doing and provide them with regular on the job experiences to set them up for employment. Our Construction students recently revamped the STC Hair & Beauty Salon, including painting, decorating and new signage.
Aeden Smith, Level 2 Construction commented: "This project has been great work experience, I have really enjoyed working with other people as part of a team, it was challenging to work to a deadline but we got there and we are really happy with the result."
Joshua Din, Level 1 Multi-Skills Construction commented: "This project has taught me to take time and communicate well with the people you are working with, we were contracted to finish on time and worked well together to do this"
