Carshalton College is celebrating the success of students Rhys, Deshan, Rithic and Rithish who advanced to the finals of the recent MEI Maths Competition.
MEI Maths Competition is a national maths competition organised by the Mathmatics in Education (MEI), a UK charity. Primarily aimed at post-16 students, these competitions boost engagement, confidence, and teamwork through engaging, curriculum-linked and challenging problems.
After strong performances in the college round, they went on to represent Carshalton College at the regional stage, hosted by Croydon College.
Competing against students from across London, Carshalton College achieved a 6th‑place finish out of the 10 participating colleges. The college extends its congratulations to all students who took part and recognises their hard work, dedication and enthusiasm throughout the competition.
