Carshalton College is proud to highlight the outstanding achievements of Gabby, just one of the Bricklaying department’s dedicated and impressive students. Gabby first joined the College on the Level 1 Brickwork course, where she quickly demonstrated a strong work ethic, excellent practical ability and a clear passion for the trade.
Now in her second year, progressing through the Level 2 Brickwork programme, Gabby continues to refine her skills and gain the technical knowledge required for a successful career in construction. Her Tutor Andrew describes her as motivated, focused and always willing to take on new challenges.
Her commitment to developing her craft recently shone through in an extracurricular project she completed entirely in her own time: a spiral-feature wall, designed and built as additional practice outside of lessons. The finished piece is an impressive demonstration of her creativity, precision and growing mastery of bricklaying techniques.
