Working with Kingston Libraries and Superhighways, IT students are volunteering their time and hosting digital helpdesks across the 7 Kingston Libraries one day a week that allow members of the public to get free support and assistance with basic digital software/hardware issues on their personal devices, as well as support to use the free library computers. For more information ask in the library or email digitallibraries@kingston.gov.uk.
IT student, Alexandru Balan (pictured left), has always enjoyed IT and he told us why he chose Kingston College: "I've always been into IT since I was really young, and this course has opened my eyes to many different opportunities in the IT industry that I didn't know about. I chose Kingston College because they were offering courses that other Colleges didn't, and it looked more welcoming.”
James O’Connell (pictured right), said: “The course has shown me there is lots to learn about IT; I chose Kingston because of the different opportunities I would be given.”
