Learners from South Thames College’s Construction Multi-Skills programme have recently spent the day on the front-line with large employer Bennett Construction Ltd, at one of their sites in Wandsworth.
As part of the visit organised by the College’s Employability Coordinators, learners were given a tour of the site, met tradespeople and managers, and learnt about the key employability skills large construction firms such as Bennett look for from staff.
All learners commented on how enjoyable the trip was, and the confidence it has given them to start to plan for the beginning of their Work Placement this year.
