Last month, our ESOL 16-18 students visited St Christopher’s Hospice in Sydenham to prepare for a fundraising event they'll be holding on Wednesday 22 June here at the College. This includes selling beautiful cards and origiami that they have made themselves.
ESOL Merton tutors will also be supporting the students in their fundraising efforts by running 15K.
St Christopher's is the first modern hospice in the world which opened in 1967 and it offers world class palliative and end of life care. It also offers community programmes providing practical, emotional and spiritual support to over 7,500 people in the local area. If you'd like to donate please visit the JustGiving page for the fundraising event.
