This week South Thames College (STC) was delighted to welcome several local business and community organisations leaders to the Wandsworth campus, by co-hosting a Business Breakfast in conjunction with partners, the Wandsworth Town Business Improvement District (BID)
The focus of the meeting was security for businesses and consumers within the town centre area.
As part of the event, Rita King, CEO of Safer Business Network launched their new programme of support for Wandsworth Town, which will see the introduction of a number of new initiatives that focus on improving security and safety.
STC Workforce Development Team also briefed delegates on the training and recruitment support available to any businesses considering improving their security measures.
The event concluded with breakfast refreshments and networking.
Moving forward, STC will support many of the new initiatives being delivered by the Safer Business Network, including night safety and female protection campaigns, by hosting conferences and training for learners in these areas.
