Former Level 2 Hairdressing student, Jasmine Egbochue hosted a silk press demo masterclass to Level 3 Hairdressing students. Currently a Senior Stylist at Elevate, Jasmine's passion for her craft shines through, as she aspires to share her knowledge as a future lecturer at South Thames College.
The silk press masterclass led by Jasmine left a lasting impression on students, as it provided a comprehensive and step-by-step guide on straightening Afro hair. Students had the opportunity to witness Jasmine's professionalism in action as she shared valuable insights into the best products and techniques for achieving optimal results.
Jozeth, a Level 3 Hairdressing student, emphasised the practicality of the presentation, stating, "This presentation was very useful as we could see the techniques the lady used for straightening the hair and the styling products she used to hydrate the hair. The finished product made the style look smooth and beautiful. It was a great demo."
Kya, also Level 3 Hairdressing student, commented, "The class was very informative. It showed how simple it really is to handle afro hair."
Jasmine's silk press masterclass showcased her expertise, aspiring future hairstylists. There's no doubt that Jasmine's journey from student to Senior Stylist has inspired our students.
