Jon-Paul studied our two year BTEC in Business, achieving Triple Distinction, equivalent to 3 A grades at A Level. He had some great things to say of his time with us!
Why did you choose to study a BTEC and why did you choose Kingston College?
I chose to study a BTEC because I didn’t like how exam focused A Levels were, I found the coursework much more suitable and preferred learning in a more practical way. I chose Kingston College as it had a great reputation and I liked how relaxed college life is in comparison to a regular sixth form setting.
Was College life what you expected?
College life was better than expected. I had some fantastic teachers who were incredibly helpful and wanted to see me do as well as possible. It was also a great environment to socialise and make friends. I really enjoyed it.
What are you plans now?
I am off to the University of East Anglia to study BA (Hons) Business Management with a year in industry placement.
