Meet Level 4 HNC Social and Community Work (Children, Young People and Families) student, Morven Abberley, who says: "I’ve enjoyed the course for many reasons. It has allowed me to connect and learn about different social issues and how to address them, it has been eye-opening and inspiring. Being a part of this course has given me a sense of purpose and a deeper understanding and the importance of community and social work. The course has also provided me with practical skills and knowledge that I can now and will be able to apply to real life.
"During the course we are required to do work experience either in a community or social background. I chose to help and support people with disabilities which I am hoping to fulfil in the future in order to make sure individuals feel safe, valued and supported."
