Hairdressing students have demonstrated their incredible skills in a bridal competition held at the college on 10th December.
The Level 3 students had the opportunity to compete against each other in a live setting with each student fully styling their model, including dress and make-up, alongside a mood board showing the creative process and inspiration. Students were required to produce a bridal look using previously taught skills to create the look of their choice and they didn’t disappoint. The students produced a stunning range of elegant styles embellished and adorned with fresh flowers, tiaras and pearl-drops.
Competition judge Julie Watkins, Deputy Head of School, recognised the emerging talent shown by all the competing students. Prizes went to:
1st Prize - Shanice Caiado
2nd Prize - Lucy Rendall
3rd Prize - Alice Walker
