Complementary Therapy lecturers and students at Kingston College were thrilled to give back to the NHS when they invited volunteers at Kingston Hospital to the College for complimentary treatments.

Course Tutor, Anita Chawda, said: “I was in touch with the hospital to ask if there was any way we could give something back to these lovely people who give their time and energy for free. I emailed with the heading “We would love to give something back…”.

“As a result, we welcomed eight wonderful volunteers who were given complimentary treatments by our Level 3 Complementary Therapy students. Each volunteer was given a relaxing aromatherapy massage and a soothing reflexology treatment. I am hoping moving forward we can offer this gift to them on a regular basis. It also benefits the students when they work on clients in a real-life setting.”

Kingston Hospital will also be doing a lovely write up about the students and the wonderful volunteers in their newsletter.
