Meet BTEC Travel & Tourism and Aviation Operations student, Jasmin Barretto, who says “College life has exceeded my expectations”:
“I chose to study a BTEC at Kingston College due to the practical learning approach and the availability of the Travel and Tourism and Aviation course, which align with my interests. After completing my course, I plan to further my studies at West London Uni in Air Transport Management to enhance my skills for a career as an air hostess.
“My favourite part of the course was giving the pitch, as it helped me overcome my fear of public speaking. Additionally, the one-month internship in Turkey was a highlight, providing valuable experiences and skills such as being responsible, helping customers with queries, time management, being patient etc.
“College life at Kingston College has exceeded my expectations with its engaging environment. For those considering this course, I recommend being proactive, meeting deadlines on time, and making the most of the resources available. I've been fortunate to learn from supportive and knowledgeable tutors who have guided me along the way.”
