L2 - Certificate in Understanding Personal Care Needs

This qualification is designed for learners wishing to develop their understanding of the safe handling of medicines. They may be learners who wish to access this training with a view to progress to further qualifications, or learners who wish to study this programme in order to complement other studies.

  • Entry Requirements


    This course is for adult learners 19+. It would be desirable if learners had GCSE grade 4/C in English and /or ESOL/EFL.

    To be awarded the qualification, learners are required to successfully complete the following mandatory units:

    This course will be delivered on Thursdays from 5-9 with a blended learning approach.

    The Level 2 Certificate in Understanding Personal Care Needs is internally assessed using a portfolio of evidence including practical and theoretical assessments.
