T Level in Accounting
The T Level in Accounting will provide you with the knowledge, skills and behaviours needed to progress into skilled employment or higher-level technical training or study in the accountancy sector.

Entry Requirements
T Levels require a minimum of 5 x GCSEs at B/5 or above, including a grade 5 in Mathematics and English Language.You will also need to provide a copy of your last school report and/or a reference from an employer, and this will include your attendance. Applicants with attendance below 85% will need to discuss any evidence-based mitigating circumstances at their Meet the Tutor interview. Course Content
You will develop an understanding of a broad range of issues relevant to the sector, including: the business environment, fundamentals of financial accounting, professionalism and ethics, data driven innovation and analytics and design thinking.You will have a personal tutor who supports and guides you through the course. You will meet with your personal tutor for group meetings and for personal one to one meetings on a regular basis.
In the second year, you will specialise in accountancy.

Course Structure
The T Level in Accounting is equivalent to three A levels.Undertaking a substantial, mandatory work placement is a key driver of success of the new T Level programme. All students will complete a minimum of 315 hours (around 45 days) to help confirm their career pathway, contextualise new skills and knowledge, and develop attitudes and behaviours needed in the sector specific workplace.

Assessment Details
You will sit two exams and complete an employer set project in May/June of the first year, and you will complete an occupational specialist task at the end of the second year.
