Apprenticeships are training programmes designed for learners of all age groups (16+), who have left full time education and are in employment.

Apprenticeships can benefit your business by enabling you to bring in talented individuals who are specifically trained with skills you need to support your business goals.

We are celebrating National Apprenticeship Week 2026 (NAW), running from 9-15 February, by hosting a variety of events across each of our four Colleges, including an Apprenticeship Information Evening, Employer Fair, Guest Talks and more. STCG learners can check their student accounts for a full list of internal activities.

Apprenticeship Information Evening 
Thursday 12 February from 16:30-18:30
STCG learners and pupils from local schools in Year 9 and above are invited to our Apprenticeship Information Evening, where they can find out how Apprenticeships work, what vacancies are available and meet local employers offering opportunities. Presentations run at 17:00, 17:30 and 18:00.
