A vocational qualification offering a practical introduction to biology, chemistry, and physics over one year, covering core scientific principles, practical skills. Units assessed through assignments and external exams, leading to progression in science-related careers or further education.

  • Entry Requirements


    4 GCSE grade 4 or above, including English and Maths.

  • Course Content


    The consists of the following units; Principles of Science, Chemistry and our Earth, Energy and our Universe, Biology and our Environment, Applications of Chemical Substances, Applications of Physical Science, Health Applications of Life Science and Scientific Skills

    Level 3 T level in Laboratory Technicians or AAQ Biomedical pathway.

  • Course Structure


    One year full time course covering 8 units that are assessed via coursework and two externally assessed units for 16-18 year olds.

  • Assessment Details


    2 Externally assessed exams and the remaining units will be assessed through internal assignments.
