L2 Diploma in Afro Type Women's Hairdressing
This course is aimed at hairdressers and salon owners who are looking to become more inclusive and diverse in their skill-set and artistry working with tightly curled and coiled Afro-textured hair.
This course is designed by our specialist trainers to empower learners with core cutting techniques that will see them confidently offer cutting services to any client within the beautifully diverse spectrum of different, natural afro-hair textures, from the looser 3A, B and C curls to the tighter 4A, B and C coils.

Entry Requirements
Applicants must be 19+.Some previous experience of working with this hair type is recommended, in roles such as a hair stylist, barber, or salon assistant.
ESOL students must have achieved Level 1 Numeracy and Level 2 in English.

Course Content

- Cut women's hair to create a variety of looks
- Style and dress hair using a variety of techniques
- Colour hair to create a variety of looks
- Creative hairdressing design skills
- Perm hair to create a variety of looks
- Relaxing service for African type hair
