Testimonials Find out here what our students are saying about the ESOL Course at Kingston College.

My journey in the UK started when I applied to do an ESOL Horizons course here at the College. At that time I can honestly say I could barely say "hello" and "thank you" in English. My teachers were so helpful, patient and supportive that I managed to go from Entry Level 2 up to Level 1 in just a couple of years. I remember once when I was in a GCSE Business class and I realised I was doing better than some of the students who were actually born in the UK - I felt very proud of myself of all my hard work! What I enjoyed the most was the fact that every single day I learned a new thing; not just English wise, but life wise, as the class is so diverse and you get to meet people from all over the world which is a fantastic experience! It is like going on a gap year to 25 different countries!! I am a successful IT technician now working for a company that provides services to other 60 companies. The ESOL course has played an incredibly important role in helping me achieve this position I have today. Several of these companies I work for English is a minimum requirement. Therefore, these skills I learned in the ESOL class have put me ahead of the other employees so I am one step ahead of the competition which is really promising for my career!
