ESOL Entry Level 3 (16yrs - 19yrs)
The ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) Skills for Life course is for students who are 16-19 years of age and have recently arrived in the UK or have already successfully achieved ESOL at Entry Level 2. This intensive English course will develop skills in reading, writing, listening and speaking, as well as improving skills in Maths. Specialist ESOL teachers teach these courses and are there to help students succeed. Kingston College can offer:

Course Content
On the ESOL Entry Level 3 course all students study the same set of qualifications. These are: ESOL Trinity Skills for Life Speaking/Listening at Entry Level 3, Pearson Edexcel Reading and Writing at Entry Level 3, and Entry Level 3 and Level 1 Functional Skills Maths.The ESOL Skills for Life course is assessed by three exams: a speaking exam, a reading exam and a writing exam. There is a weekly tutorial class and regular individual support sessions with the tutor. Work Experience is also an essential element of this course.
