This 8-week course will teach you the techniques to enable you to portray the human form within clay.

Course Content

Working in our specialist 3D workshop you will be introduced to clay construction techniques. Our life model will use various poses suitable to look at movement and form and how you can re-create this in clay. The course will also cover animal modeling. You will learn how to apply colour and texture to your work through the use of mark making and glazing techniques. Suitable for those who wish to extend their ceramic skills further.

Materials and equipment will be provided. Should you become more ambitious in the scale of your work we may ask for a contribution towards materials used.
