Pottery - Sculpting from Life
This 8-week course will teach you the techniques to enable you to portray the human form within clay.

Entry Requirements
There are no entry requirements, however, to gain the most from this course we recommend previous ceramics experience. If you are new to pottery, we would highly recommend trying out our Pottery for Beginners course. -
Course Content
Working in our specialist 3D workshop you will be introduced to clay construction techniques. Our life model will use various poses suitable to look at movement and form and how you can re-create this in clay. The course will also cover animal modeling. You will learn how to apply colour and texture to your work through the use of mark making and glazing techniques. Suitable for those who wish to extend their ceramic skills further. -

You could progress onto another of our evening classes, including Pottery for Intermediates, or our new Pottery Studio Sessions to work on your own projects with on-hand guidance from our expert tutor. -

Materials and equipment will be provided.
