GCSE Physics
GCSE Physics gives students knowledge about the ideas and laws controlling the behaviour of things that make up the physical world around us. Physics looks at mechanics, heat, light and other radiation, sound, electricity, magnetism and the structure of atoms. This subject requires a good knowledge of maths. This course is for school leavers aged 16-18 and must be studied as part of the full time GCSE Retake programme.

Course Content
This is the linear 9-1 GCSE qualification. A linear qualification means that students must sit all their exams at the end of the course in June. The qualification can be taken at either Foundation Tier or Higher Tier. The lessons will involve a mixture of classroom based lectures and practical lessons in our specialist science laboratories.
