Conveyancing Law and Practice - Level 4 SQA Diploma
Conveyancing Law and Practice - Level 4 SQA Diploma is ideal for anyone who is looking to gain a greater insight into the process of Conveyancing Law. ideally you will be working in practice and are looking to expand your confidence when working with other lawyers or clients. This is an accessible qualification, entry to this diploma does not require a formal relevant qualification. Good communication skills, both oral and written, are required. Current experience of working within a legal practice setting would be advantageous but is not mandatory.

Entry Requirements
GCSE English minimum grade C/4 or equivalent. As part of the enrolment process all applicants will be required to complete a short assessment to gauge their current English working level. Good communication skills, both oral and written, are required. Current experience of working within a legal practice setting would be advantageous but is not mandatory. -
Course Content
The Conveyancing Law and Practice covers generic areas such as;- English legal system
- Law of contract
- Land law
- Understanding accounting procedures for conveyancing
- Transactions and standard conveyancing transactions.

Progression Next Steps
Candidates who complete the Level 4 Diploma, along with six months' work experience would have the opportunity to become a registered conveyancing technician with the CLC. Candidates would also have the opportunity of progressing to the regulated qualification: SQA Level 6 Diploma in Conveyancing Law and Practice. -

Course Structure
The course will be in person at Kingston College. The classroom sessions will be run fortnightly on a Tuesday evening for 3 hours, with self-study in between. -
