We will invite you to a Meet the Tutor event where you will receive information, advice and guidance about the course you have applied for. This will be an opportunity for you to gain valuable information about the course and give you the opportunity to ask any questions you may have.You will need to provide a copy of your last school report and/or a reference from an employer or relevant professional other. This is to ensure we can support you to be able to succeed on the course.
- 4 x GCSE's at D/3 or above including Maths, English and Science, OR
- a Functional Skills qualification in Maths and/or English

Course Content
The course covers a wide range of engineering subjects and activities including workshop skills such as using hand tools and machines, making and testing electronic circuits, engineering materials, engineering mathematics and science. The course is divided into a number of units which are assessed using a variety of methods including practical activities, assignments and tests. -
Progression Next Steps
There are lots of opportunities available to you to progress across the South Thames Colleges Group and into the world beyond education.Students can progress to any Level 3 Diploma on an Engineering course, or gain employment as an Apprentice in an engineering company.
