VTCT Level 4 Diploma in Salon Management

You will need to have a level 3 qualification in either hairdressing, barbering or beauty therapy or be able to demonstrate that you have significant industry experience working in either of these sectors. In addition, applicants must be proficient in written and spoken English.

Applicants must have access to a suitable salon/barber shop where they will be supported in a junior management or supervisory role. Alternatively, applicants must be available to work in our Headmasters Academy or beauty Salon to gain the management experience. A minimum of 3 hours a week would be required.

You will provide a copy of your last school report and/or a reference from an employer or relevant professional other to include attendance. This is to ensure we can support to be able to achieve well on the course. Applicants with 85% or below attendance will have been deemed not to have met this criteria. All applicants are given an opportunity to discuss any evidence based mitigating circumstances that may have affected the reference/school report.

Employment into a management position

The Level 4 is a one year course delivered on Thursdays - theory lessons during day-time and practical during the evening clinic.

We are now interviewing for this course for September start date. The tuition fee for this course is around £3500. Students will also need to purchase or have their own tools for practical sessions and beauty therapists will need to purchase a specified uniform for practical session in the laser clinic.
