VTCT Level 4 Diploma in Salon Management
The hairdressing, barbering & beauty therapy industries are one of the most diverse, interesting & fastest growing industries within the UK, with a vast amount of employment opportunities available.
For aspiring leaders and managers, this VTCT level 4 salon management programme is a logical step towards a management position within this exciting industry.

Entry Requirements
All Students will study mandatory units which are:Management of Health, Safety and Security in the Salon Salon Management Sales Management in the hair or Beauty Sector Quality Management of Client Care Public Relations in the Hair and Beauty Sector Students will then study further units below depending on their sector
Hairdressing route you will study:
Colour correction (if not previously achieved) OR Manage the creation of a collection Research in the Hair and Beauty sector Barbering route you will study:
Manage the creation of a male hair collection Research in the hair & beauty sector Beauty Therapy route you will study:
Laser & light treatments for skin rejuvenation Laser & light treatments for hair removal Research in the hair & beauty sector
Applicants must have access to a suitable salon/barber shop where they will be supported in a junior management or supervisory role. Alternatively, applicants must be available to work in our Headmasters Academy or beauty Salon to gain the management experience. A minimum of 3 hours a week would be required.

Course Content
You will need to have a level 3 qualification in either hairdressing, barbering or beauty therapy or be able to demonostrate that you have significant industry experience working in either of these sectors. In addition, applicants must be proficient in written and spoken English. -

The Level 4 is a one year course. Lectures will take place on a Monday. Approximately 10.00am - 19.00pm. Practical training & assessment of laser type units will be performed on a Wednesday afternoon 16.00pm - 20.00pm therefore applicants must be available to attend these sessions in our laser clinic to achieve these units.We are now interviewing for this course for September start date. The tuition fee for this course is around £3500. Students will also need to purchase or have their own tools for practical sessions and beauty therapists will need to purchase a specified uniform for practical session in the laser clinic.
