L4 - Certificate in Laser and Intense Pulsed Laser (IPL) Treatments (QCF) - Yr 1 of 1 (VTCT)
This is an advanced qualification for those in the 19+ age group, wishing to work using Laser and IPL. Students will study a range of practical and theory units and will develop their practical skills using the industry standard commercial salon and laser treatment room.
Students will also develop critical skills such as communication, customer service and teamwork, to support their progression to the next level or into employment.

Entry Requirements
Level 3 Beauty therapy or a Level 3 Anatomy and Physiology qualification.You will provide a copy of your last school report and/or a reference from an employer or relevant professional other to include attendance. This is to ensure we can support to be able to achieve well on the course. Applicants with 85% or below attendance will have been deemed not to have met this criteria. All applicants are given an opportunity to discuss any evidence based mitigating circumstances that may have affected the reference/school report.

Course Content
A range of practical and theory units are students and may include:Management of health, safety and security in the salon Client care and communication in beauty related industries Laser and light treatments for hair removal Laser and light treatments for skin rejuvenation
The course covers both practical and theory work and all students are required to complete assessments on clients in our laser clinic.
